Community • Leadership • Experience
From Barberton High School graduate to Army veteran to successful entrepreneur, Chris Stoll brings the real-world experience our city needs. After serving overseas in Iraq and earning his Master's in Computer Science on the GI Bill, Chris founded multiple successful software companies and understands what it takes to build prosperity from the ground up.
Chris sees Barberton's potential and has a plan to unlock it equitably. Having watched our community struggle through economic challenges, he knows we need smart investments that create a positive growth cycle—better infrastructure attracts families and businesses that pay living wages, which grows our tax base, which funds better public services and community investments. As a business owner, he understands fiscal responsibility while knowing we can't be penny wise and pound foolish when investing in our shared prosperity.
Chris doesn't just talk about community—he shows up. As former Barberton Rotary President, YMCA Advisory Board member, VFW Post 1066 Trustee, and BSA leader, he's consistently worked to make Barberton stronger. His military service taught him that effective leadership means listening to all stakeholders and finding solutions that benefit everyone.
Ready to work for Barberton's future. Chris and his wife Heather chose to move back to Barberton, investing in one of the beautiful historic homes around Lake Anna. With three grown sons and as proud dog parents to Raya and Ollie, they're committed to building the community they've chosen to make their home.

Local government provides the essential public services we depend upon in our daily lives: clean water, well-maintained streets, safe neighborhoods, quality public facilities, and accessible community programs. Recent changes in funding from federal and state levels, combined with rising costs, require us to develop creative solutions that prioritize these essential services while ensuring they serve all residents equitably.
Division is all we see on the national news and social media, but we have a lot in common with our neighbors - most of us around here bleed purple. We must actively listen to all voices in our community and work together to ensure Barberton is a place where everyone can thrive, regardless of background or circumstances.
Barberton is blessed with organizations that can help our community prepare for future growth. Our predecessors built this foundation through thoughtful investment. Now it's our responsibility to strengthen these partnerships and create new opportunities that will benefit generations to come
All the challenges Barberton faces are opportunities to remake our hometown for the better—more equitable, more sustainable, and more resilient. If we start with the belief that we can improve our community for everyone, make bold investments in our shared future, and learn from our experiences, we will bring the magic back to Barberton.
Your contribution helps us build a stronger, more equitable Barberton where everyone can thrive. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in our grassroots campaign for positive change.
